Redknot’s HOMEARAMA HOME The Loudon
September is just around the corner and construction continues on our HOMEARAMA Dayton home, The Loudon. This ranch with a partially finished basement features many “southern comfort” design elements. Specifically, there’s a large front porch, a great room with built-ins and a fireplace, and a screened-in back porch. Ultimately, Redknot brings these southern and traditional designs elements into modern construction with an open floor plan design. As a result, this new construction home has a welcoming, homey atmosphere with character.
Union Village is a new development in Lebanon, OH that is designed with the principles of “New Urbanism”. For instance, walkability, sustainability, and building a closeness within the community are all high priorities of New Urbanism. In fact, sidewalks connect all the homes and large front porches to encourage neighbors to get to know one another more. Additionally, the mixture of commercial businesses in the “town square” of the development is easily accessed within the neighborhood.
Finally, the homes themselves are inspired by historic architecture found throughout the Ohio region. Specifically, they are inspired by the Shaker Villages that used to exist on the property. The new homes vary greatly inside the development as they are all custom builds. As a result, the goal of the overall landscape is to capture the essence of a simpler time in a connected community.

Union Village Show Details
In conclusion, tickets will go on sale soon ($15 for adults) and children under 10 years old are free. The show dates are October 2nd, 2021 “ October 17th, 2021, with special events happening throughout the show. Additionally, there will be onsite food vendors and beverages. Specifically, this will be a great event for families, date nights, or anyone interested in custom homes! Parking is available onsite and an address to put in for directions via GPS is 3855 Lower Market St. #100D Lebanon, OH 35036.
